Mikawachi ware

Mikawachi ware (三川内焼, Mikawachi-yaki), also called Hirado ware (平戸焼, Hirado-yaki) is a type of Japanese porcelain predominantly produced at kilns located in Mikawachi, Sasebo, Nagasaki. This porcelain was crafted under the auspices of the Hirado Domain, which owned the kilns and oversaw their operations, playing a significant role in shaping and directing the production process.
